Rita Benson has over 20 years of experience as an individual, marital, family and group therapist. She is a Registered Marriage & Family Therapist and Approved Supervisor with the Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also a Registered Social Worker in the Ontario College of Social Workers.
Rita became a Registered SoulCollage® Facilitator in the fall of 2007 and offers one day workshops and weekend retreats using the process of SoulCollage®. She uses SoulCollage® in her personal process (see Gallery). For a list of current workshops and retreats, proceed to Events.
Rita has also completed training in six levels of Sandtray-Worldplay with Dr. Gisela de Domenico. Rita is skilled in three trauma release techniques (E.M.D.R., Emotional Freedom Technique and Trauma Incident Reduction).
Rita is author of the book, “Souls Rising: A Book of Reflections and Affirmations on Life, Relationships, Sexuality and Spirituality”.
Dianne Mathes is also a Registered SoulCollage® Facilitator and a Registered Social Worker. She and Rita offer weekend SoulCollage® Retreats (see Events).
Rita and Dianne bring many years of experience to this work as well as their love of personal growth journeys and rich spiritual practice. Their warmth, compassion, sense of play and creativity make this rich process a tender and joyous opportunity for participants.
