Committee Cards 1

Thank you to all the wonderful photographers and artists whose images inspired me to recreate and discover my inner and outer worlds.

Card: Artist

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one who is an artist.  I am the one who is engrossed in the process of creating.  I am the one who draws, collages, and sculpts.  I am the one whose soul is touched and expressed as I make art.

Card: Losing My Mom to Alzheimer’s

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one who is losing my mom to Alzheimer’s.  I am the one who watches my mother’s brain disintegrate and who sees her blank face.  I am the one who experiences how she is cut out of my life when she is supposed to still be here.  I am the one who sends an angel and a white rose to honour the sacredness of my mother’s journey.

Card: Healing My Family’s Pain

I am the one who feels the pain of my great grandmother, my grandmother, my mother and my younger self.  I am one who carries the pain of the Ukrainian generations.  I am the one who smudges and releases the pain for myself and all the others.

Card: Playing in the Cosmos

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one who plays in the Cosmos.  I am the one who knows there are greater things than we can see.  I am one who knows the expansiveness of the Universe and all of the potential it holds for us.

Card: Armoured One

I am the one who is attempting to be strong but who feels weary and sad within.

Card: Real Self Emerging

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one who is finding my real self, emerging from behind the hollow image of who I pretended to be.  I am one who is aware of new possibilities and who is willing to walk alone, in my power, sure of where I am headed.  I am one who is learning to be true to myself.

Card: Overeater

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one craves sugar and chocolate and salt.  I am the one who eats unconsciously, rapidly putting food into my mouth.  I am the one who is uncomfortable and bloated.

Card: Healthy One

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one eats consciously.  I am the one who chooses fresh fruits and vegetables.  I am the one who does yoga and works out.  I am the one who feels vital energy and aliveness in my body.

Card: Invisible One

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one who is not seen by others.  I am the one who disappears and feels invisible and unimportant.  I am the one who does not know who I am.

Card: Precious Baby

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one who is sacred and important.  I am the one who is a gift to the world.  I am the one who knows who I am.

Card: Maiden

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one who is emerging in my young woman’s body and in my mystical power.  I am the one who is supported by nature and will become the strength of the giant tree in the late evening sky. 

Card: Sexual Discovery

Suit:  Committee

 

I am the one who is gently exploring and discovering my sexuality in my own timing, allowing myself to blossom to a new way of being.
